Dr Joe Geraghty is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Spire Manchester Hospital. He qualified in 2004 from Imperial College, London, and trained in London, Oxford, and Liverpool, where he was awarded a PhD in 2010, before being appointed a consultant in 2015. He is an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Manchester. 

 

Dr Geraghty specialises in managing complex digestive disorders, including reflux disease and abdominal pain, as well as pancreatic and biliary conditions. He performs a broad range of routine and advanced endoscopic procedures, including wireless oesophageal pH testing (the Bravo Test), endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and ERCP. Dr Geraghty provides clear, evidence-based care and works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised treatment plans for each patient.
